    One hurt in Alamosa shooting, police seek help looking for suspect

    (ALAMOSA, Colo.) — The Alamosa Police Department (APD) responded to a shooting on Tuesday night, June 25 in the 1100 block of Denver Avenue.

    At around 11:15 p.m., officers were notified that a shooting had taken place. Upon arrival, they found a man who had sustained a gunshot wound.

    The man was taken to San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center where he underwent surgery and was later transferred to a Front Range Hospital for further treatment.

    According to the police department, a suspect has not been located and a vague description was provided to investigators. APD is asking anyone who lives in the area of 1100 block of Denver Avenue to check doorbell and surveillance cameras to see if they captured anyone walking or suspicious activity in the area between 11 p.m.-11:30 p.m. on June 25.
