I recently had the pleasure of dining at Last Frontier Brewing Co, where I was eager to try the Alaskan king crab. The taste was as expected, standard yet satisfying, with the additional seasonings complementing my palate perfectly. The tax in Alaska was a surprise, but it didn't dampen my experience.
The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall cozy atmosphere. The log decor and metal work gave the place a unique charm. I tried the Hungarian mushroom soup and it was absolutely scrumptious! The Buffalo chicken salad with homemade Buffalo sauce was another delight. My companions enjoyed the Kenai sandwich with fries, Caesar salad, seafood chowder, fried halibut, mushrooms, and calamari. The seafood chowder was a standout, so much so that I regretted not ordering a bigger bowl.
However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours. On a slower night, we waited about an hour and a half for our food due to limited staff. But trust me, the food and brews are worth the wait. I've been coming here for years and have always been happy with the service and food. I wholeheartedly recommend Last Frontier Brewing Co for its great food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere.
