    Thronateeska Daughters of the American Revolution to host fundraiser for student scholarship, historic preservation

    ALBANY – The Thronateeska Daughters of the American Revolution will host a “tablescapes” fundraising event Saturday to raise money for the club’s philanthropy efforts and to help maintain its historic meeting place.

    The event will take place at the Federated Women’s Club House at 1012 N. Van Buren St. in Albany. It starts at 11 a.m., and interested persons can drop in anytime until 3 p.m. to enjoy catered food and drink and vote for the best out of 15 decorated tablescapes. Tickets to the event are $20, both in advance and at the door.
