Trooper Adam Cothron Transferred to Specialized Medical Facility in Atlanta

THP trooper Adam Cothron, who was shot during a traffic stop on I-40 in Cookeville, has been transferred to a specialized medical facility in Atlanta according to Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter. On Facebook Mayor Porter wrote, “Adam, wife Gena and his whole family are so appreciative of your prayers and outpouring of support for them after this terrible tragedy. They ask that you continue to pray for Adam, as he has a long recovery road ahead of him, but they have full faith that God has this.” Donations to help the family may be made at Citizens Bank and on GoFundMe.

Originally announced in April, Gallatin Comic Con is also set to host a 50th anniversary reunion of Happy Days cast members including Henry Winkler (Fonzie), Don Most (Ralph Malph), and Anson Williams (Potsie Weber).
