    President Joe Biden has announced that he is dropping out of the 2024 race following calls from former supporters and high-ranking Democrats that he step aside to allow another candidate to challenge former President Donald Trump for the White House.

    2. Albany Police investigate Madison Ave shooting

    Albany Police are looking for a suspect that left two people injured following a shooting on Madison Ave near Ontario Street during the early morning on Sunday. Police said they responded to the 900 block of Madison Ave and found two men, 31 and 26-years-old with non-life-threatening injuries.

    3. Glen-Worden Elementary mourns the passing of Principal Nicholas Criscone

    The Glen-Worden Elementary School Principal Nicholas J. Criscone, 50, has passed away. The school district said his death was sudden and has deeply shaken the school community, as they are mourning the passing of what they say was a dedicated educator, leader, and friend.

    In Colonie, twin sisters, Sydnie and Faith Snyder, celebrated their graduation from Colonie Central School District. The sisters, however, still reminisce about their prom night in June, where the duo had an extraordinarily special night.

    5. Troy Police search for suspect of alleyway shooting

    Troy Police are still searching for a suspect in a shooting on Saturday that has left two people in critical but stable condition. Police said both victims received life-saving medical treatment from the Troy Fire Department before being transported to a local hospital.
