    Albany Police are investigating the shooting of a 30-year-old man that happened near Clinton Avenue and Lark Street on Tuesday. Also, police responded to a home in Schenectady after reports of a child falling from a second-story porch. This, and more, in your five things to know this morning.

    1. Police investigating after one shot in Albany

    Albany Police reported they are investigating a shooting that took place near Clinton Avenue and Lark Street around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers arriving at the area located a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back.

    2. Police respond after child fell from 2nd story porch in Schenectady

    Schenectady Police and Firefighters responded to 4 Princeton Street around 9:15 Monday night for reports of a child who fell from a second-story porch. At this time, no charges have been filed, and the child said they had back pain but didn’t appear to have serious injuries.

    3. Buca di Beppo in Colonie closes after 24 years

    The Italian restaurant chain Buca di Beppo has closed the doors to its Colonie location. A statement from Buca di Beppo sent to NEWS10 confirmed the closure.

    4. Hochul announces beefed-up child tax credit

    New York is giving over a million poor families as much as $330 per child through the Empire State Child Credit. That’s according to Gov. Kathy Hochul, who held a press conference to announce the financial assistance on Tuesday.

    5. Multiple arrested after large fight at Cohoes funeral home

    Multiple police agencies responded to a fight at Marra’s Funeral Home in Cohoes on Tuesday. Police said over 100 people participated in the fight.
