The lake water is finally down, and passengers can once again board the Pelican Breeze II on the new dock located at Frank Hall Park to cruise Albert Lea Lake.

The 55-passenger cruise boat’s previously scheduled  cruises had been canceled due to high water over the dock since late June.

Public narrated cruises are at 6 p.m. every Friday and at 1:30 p.m. every Sunday. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for ages 5 and under for the 1-1/2- hour cruise. No reservations are required.

Nationally known humorist Al Batt will entertain on the boat on July 21 and Aug. 25. These special event cruises leave the dock at 3:30 p.m. for a two-hour cruise. Cost is $20 for adults and $5 for ages 5 and under. Reservations are requested by calling 507-383-7273 or going online to pelicanbreeze.org .

Passengers are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages. The boat is handicap accessible, offers a restroom and is a non-smoking vessel.

There is still time to reserve the boat for a private cruise for your reunion, company meeting, birthday or anniversary party.  Call 507-383-72-73 for more information.
