KIMT meteorologists Aaron White and Sara Knox will present “Severe weather and it impacts us” as part of the Dorothy Godtland Lecture series on July 25 at the Albert Lea Art Center.

Severe thunderstorms have affected the Midwest this year with several tornadoes, destructive hail and damaging wind gusts.

Here in southern Minnesota, severe weather ramps up in late May and continues through June and July with the warmer and more humid conditions we are accustomed to.

White and Knox have insight into what severe weather can threaten our area through the rest of the summer and into the fall season.

This event is free and open to the public. Join in and keep your eyes on the skies.
