No wake lifted on Fountain Lake and other reports

The no wake on Fountain Lake has been lifted, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s office on Thursday.

1 arrested for offender registration violation

Police cited Nike Vang, 27, for speed and arrested him for a predatory offender registration violation after a traffic stop at 8:17 a.m. Thursday near Garfield Avenue and East Main Street.

1 cited for theft

Police cited Kavin Earl Whelan, 70, for theft at 12:49 p.m. Thursday at 2708 Bridge Ave.
