Drone used to rescue man from water near Sauk Centre
(Sauk Centre, MN) -- Police in Sauk Centre say the use of a drone may have saved a man's life over the weekend. Police were called to a lake near the Sauk River dam early Sunday morning after the man began struggling in the water. Officers couldn't see the man from shore, so they launched a drone to help locate him. The drone's spotlight located the man quickly and allowed first responders to pull him out of the water. The man was checked out at a local hospital and released.
