Varina-Enon bridge lane to close for six months
Drivers who take the Varina Enon Bridge on I-295 will have to navigate with a reduced number of lanes for the next six months. The right lane on the southbound side of the bridge will close on Monday, July 22 for bridge maintenance and will remain closed for about half a year, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin allocates $30M for groundwork to Hampton Roads commerce park
The City of Suffolk got a boost this week as it received $30.1 million from the state to improve roads to a proposed 540-acre industrial commerce park.
