Montana Authorities Searching for Missing Hiker From Minnesota
Red Lodge, Montana (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in Montana continue to search for a missing Minnesota man. A news release issued by the Carbon County Sheriff's Office in southern Montana says Dylan Honnell went missing on July 12th. It's believed he was fatally injured when he fell into some rapids while he was hiking and attempted to cross East Rosebud Creek.
NHSFR: Azzy Lara, Cash Trexler finish in the top-10 at National Finals
ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. - The National High School Finals Rodeo concluded on Saturday with the short-go championship round and two Montanans wrapped up the week in the top-10. Columbia Falls cowboy Azzy Lara finished eighth in the nation after he scored a 62 in the short-go. Lara was the Montana individual state champion in bareback. Also finishing in the top-10 was tie-down roper Cash Trexler. The Corvallis roper was good for 10.65 seconds in the short-go and finished ninth overall.

Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 19, 2024, a Missoula Police Department Officer was dispatched to the area of 1215 Phillips Street regarding a man who appeared to be passed out in his vehicle while driving. Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 17, 2024, Missoula Police Department Officers were dispatched to the U.S. Post Office located at 1100 Kent Avenue for a report of a fire. Call details described a homeless female lit a bush on fire next to the building and the flames were almost as tall as the flagpole. An officer responded to the Post Office and contacted the complainant who is an employee.
Man Keeps Stealing From Missoula Stores
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 16, 2024, a Good Food Store employee reported a theft. The report indicated that a male, later identified as 42-year-old Aaron Bakula, entered the store and stole $11.98 of consumable goods without paying for them and passing all points of sale. The report included photos of the suspect and the white Pontiac Bakula was driving.
