Buffalo Council OKs Trails Cleanup Agreement
An agreement between the City of Buffalo and the University of Wyoming for a project in Buffalo has been approved and accepted by the city council. At the council’s meeting this week, Mayor Shane Schrader said it is a Wyoming Conservation Corp project, and City Clerk/Treasurer Julie Silbernagel explained further.

The four basketball teams and two volleyball squads took some time on Thursday for a few photos. According to the Cheyenne Police Department's humorous Facebook post, they want to locate the reckless driver in an attempt to teach them proper turning procedure and etiquette. Atlas Theatre receives DDA grant to infill purposeless windows
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Historic Atlas Theatre has received a grant to remove windows that “no longer serve a purpose.”. On Thursday, the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority approved a Capital Improvement Grant for the Friends of the Atlas Board at its regular monthly meeting. The theater board requested a 50% match from the DDA for masonry work on the Atlas Theatre’s south side, according to a DDA staff report. The total cost of repairs is $8,800. The development authority awarded the Atlas board $4,400.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — New leadership is stepping in for the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority. At its regular monthly meeting Thursday, the downtown governing body held new elections for the board’s president and vice chair positions. Scott Roybal, the board’s representative for the Cheyenne City Council, was nominated and unanimously elected president.
Despite Recent Gains, Wyoming Farmland Values Show Signs of Slowing
Farmland values in Wyoming have made modest gains over the past six months according to the latest Benchmark Farm Value Trends Report issued by Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) and Frontier Farm Credit. Values for Wyoming farmland have shown an average increase of 2.7% in the past six months and 5.1% in the past 12 months.
