The Riverton Volunteer Fire District has a new ladder truck. The ladders on each side of the truck are each about three feet long, if that. The new truck has room for one driver. That’s all. ALAMOSA – The National High School Finals Rodeo’s seventh performance was completed on Thursday morning at the Sweetwater Events Center in Rock Springs, Wyo. Klayt Staudt of Saguache finished his performances in boys cutting on Wednesday. In his first performance on Wednesday morning, he compiled a score of 137 points which was 45th in the first go-round. In his second run, he scored 130 points which was 24th in the go as of Thursday morning. His total score of 267 points is 20th overall as of Thursday morning.

Remembering Todd Kidd: A Hero From Casper With a Lasting Legacy
The victim of a deadly shooting in a bar and restaurant in Denver last week was born and raised in Casper. Todd Kidd died trying to take a gun from 14-year-old Steven "Echo" Marquez, who was arrested in Casper this week and is now being held for investigation of first-degree murder.
