New claims filed against Buffalo RiverWorks owner/developer
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo RiverWorks owner Earl Ketry is facing a second claim tied to ownership interests and investors at the waterfront restaurant and event venue. Ketry was sued in May by developer Douglas Swift, alleging unauthorized changes in ownership interests and financial irregularities at the venue the two founded in 2013.
Jamestown Man Charged in Falconer Burglary
A Jamestown man was arrested Sunday on a warrant in connection with a burglary that occurred at a building in Falconer in late May. Ellicott Town Police say 44-year-old Larry Whitehill, Jr. stole a car and several other items after the alleged break-in. Officers say Whitehill was found in possession of some of the stolen items during the investigation. He was found by Jamestown Police and turned over to Ellicott Town Police on the warrant charging him with 4th-degree grand larceny and 5th-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Whitehill was later issued appearance tickets for Ellicott Town Court.

Jon H. Bush, Jr., 41, of Batavia, was arrested on two warrants and also charged with assault 2nd and obstructing governmental administration 2nd. On Aug. 5, Batavia patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on Park Road and observed Bush attempting to hide in the back seat.
