Providence police arrest man accused of assaulting assistant attorney general
(WJAR) — Providence police said man was arrested after he assaulted a woman on Monday. Police said the assault happened downtown and that the victim is an assistant attorney general. Phelipe Tenenbaum, who is accused of the attack, appeared in court Tuesday morning. He is facing two assault-related charges.

Trash truck blaze leaves piles of debris in Taunton
Piles of trash were left of the side of a street in Taunton after a trash truck caught on fire. Berkley firefighters helped respond to the scene on County Street. It is unclear what caused the fire. No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
