Kinston, MA Church Vandalized and Set Ablaze; Suspect from Plymouth Faces Arson and Property Destruction Charges
In the quiet hours of July 4th, the Kingston Police Department was summoned to the First Parish Unitarian Church on Main Street following reports of vandalism and arson. According to a statement released by the department, they found considerable damage inflicted overnight. Handcrafted 200-year-old shutters were torn apart, antique windows were shattered, and the church's interior bore the hostilities of fire extinguisher discharge. More disturbing, perhaps, are the "Pride" and "Black Lives Matter" flags found burned, suggesting targeted malice.

The Pirates Hit So Many Home Runs Last Night Against The Mets That They Ran Out Of Fireworks
Cool story. Bloggable though? You tell me. Rowdy Tellez and Bryan Reynolds became the first pair of teammates in MLB History to each hit two home runs, including a grand slam a piece. Tied a franchise record 7 home runs as a team, scoring all 14 of their runs from the long ball. And with Paul Skenes improved his rookie record to 5-0. But at the end of the day, I'd lean on the side of this being non-bloggable material aside from perhaps if we had a Pirates specific or MLB only writer. Besides, at 42-45, Pittsburgh is too low in the standings for me to be caring about!
