PERIKIN Enterprises wins 5-yr Hypersonic Advisory and Assistance Services Contract
PERIKIN Enterprises, LLC, is excited to announce the award of a 5-year Advisory & Assistance Services contract from the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) located in Arnold AFB, TN to continue supporting development and fielding of Hypersonic Test and Evaluation capabilities. Through this partnership with AEDC, PERIKIN has proudly provided Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) High Speed Systems Test (HSST), Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP), Hypersonic Test and Evaluation Investment Program (HyTIP), and SkyRange programs for over 14 years. PERIKIN’s support provides a full range of engineering, construction, design, environmental, information technology support, facility maintenance and management, and program management services. Our company has earned the reputation for undertaking complex problems, embracing emerging technologies, and demonstrating a never-ending commitment for continuous improvement to our services. Hypersonic T&E technology development is a core capability of PERIKIN. We have developed sound practices to guide technology development including explicit requirements definition, sound engineering practices, development of comprehensive test and analysis plans, execution of developmental and demonstration tests, independent analysis, and preparation of technical reports. Our team of engineers do far more than oversee technical progress, they enable technical progress. With our demonstrated experience and expertise, we become deeply involved in helping to solve difficult technical problems leading to project success. Many of the projects PERIKIN has supported have made, or will make, fundamental improvements in the Nation’s hypersonic T&E capabilities. Development of hypersonic T&E capabilities is more than a business venture for PERIKIN. We are completely devoted to the development of hypersonic weapons as a critical and urgent component of United States (U.S.) national defense. We show our pride by having a well-developed knowledge of hypersonic weapons, hypersonic T&E requirements, and national hypersonic test capabilities. PERIKIN employs a staff of highly experienced engineers, management, financial, and contracting professionals to ensure that the customer meets their objective. We have a track record of innovation, thinking big, and overcoming obstacles. PERIKIN’s success begins and ends with our team of committed employees focused on providing quality and best-value solutions. A shining example of PERIKIN’s expertise and commitment to improving the Nation’s hypersonic prowess is shown in the concept of repurposing unmanned aerial systems outfitted with specialized sensors to support hypersonic flight tests which is now changing the way the U.S. conducts hypersonic flight testing. This concept has now become known as SkyRange and currently consists of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles, and their associated ground control stations and support equipment. PERIKIN’s current customer base extends across multiple organizations within the Federal Government to include the United States Air Force (USAF), United States Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) (Tulsa and Albuquerque Districts), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of State (DOS). PERIKIN’s Advanced Engineering business background is anchored in our detailed knowledge of the design, operation, and T&E requirements of all classes of hypersonic weapons including boost-glide, scramjet, interceptors, reentry vehicles, and rail gun projectiles. We also have centuries of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) aerospace acquisition, to include significant work experience at AEDC which has proven to facilitate an efficient transition of developed technologies into AEDC’s operations. This knowledge, coupled with our close working relationship with Government program offices, has enabled us to identify specific T&E requirements to help guide technology developments and investments. At PERIKIN we are proud to have worked alongside the great team of dedicated civil servants at AEDC and the TRMC for the past 14 years. We are grateful for the trust given to PERIKIN in the past and are honored to continue to support this vital mission into the future. Approved PA # AEDC2022-199.
