ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – “Kats,” tats, and disco music: It may sound like an odd mash-up, but Foster Kitten Coalition said it’s the perfect mix to help you and your new furry friend vibe out.

The feline adoption event welcomed guests with a one-of-a-kind adoption opportunity.

The Lapis Room along with the Noisy Water Winery served up drinks for the laid-back gathering.

Advocates from Heart Animal Rescue in Valencia County, Albuquerque Animal Welfare, and Pitties and Kitties were also in attendance to help spread the word about kitten season.

Other businesses got in on the fun too, with Tatty Daddy on hand to ink up those who couldn’t adopt an animal.
