    Albuquerque officials ask people to clear standing water to prevent mosquitos from breeding

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is urging people to clear out standing water to help prevent mosquitos from breeding after recent flooding. The city said if anyone sees bottles, tires, or any container with water in it, to dump it out.

    NMDOT releases safe driving tips for monsoon season

    Mosquitoes can carry diseases like West Nile virus, Zika virus, and heartworm. Residents can also call 311 for mosquito treatment around their homes. For more information on how to help prevent mosquitos, click this link .
