ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating two crashes in the Foothills with the second involving a fire truck that was responding to the first crash. According to a criminal complaint, the driver, Isabella Hayney, refused medical care but smelled of alcohol and did poorly in sobriety tests. Her citation said her breath test came back at .14.

No emergency crews were injured in the crash. A person from the initial collision was taken to the hospital.

The fire truck will likely be out of service for six to eight months.
