ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Before heading off to the TBT’s Houston Regional Friday, The Enchantment basketball team will play an exhibition game against other Lobo alumni, honoring the memory of past players who lost their lives in 2024.

“I mean, this is huge because it’s a sad situation because Drew, the first two years he played on the TBT team, I got to know him a little bit more, and obviously, Greg Brown playing at Albuquerque High,” said Enchantment head coach and former NBA veteran Kenny Thomas. “Greg’s done a lot in this community. And, then you got to think about Rueben Douglas. The sky has been kind of falling and you got to keep in mind, there’s a lot of different things that’s going on right now, as far as different people just passing away. So, the fact that we’re able to come in here and put on a show tomorrow night I think it’s going to be a good time. Come out and support.”

The Enchantment is a team of former Lobo players and others with New Mexico ties. The Enchantment and Lobo alumni exhibition game is Tuesday night at The Pit at 7:00 p.m.
