    Albuquerque Adult Learning Center unveiling new building and program

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Adult Learning Center is a nonprofit providing high school equivalency preparation, post-secondary transition assistance and career preparation assistance.

    On July 18 the ABQ-ALC will host an open house from 1 – 4 p.m. to unveil a new building that will house its new Solar Integrated Education and Training Program. The new program will offer Basic Fundamentals Solar Photovoltaic classes. Solar photovoltaic are commonly known as solar cells and convert sunlight into electricity. Students participating the program can earn their high school equivalency credential and their solar installer/photovoltaic certificate, which can help students get a start in the solar industry.

    People attending the open house will have the chance to meet with and talk to staff members and students. For more information on ABQ-ALC and the new solar program, click here.
