    Former Lobo coach Rocky Long now a football analyst at Ft. Lewis College

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Rocky Long will share his defensive expertise in football at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. The former UNM head football coach and defensive coordinator is the school’s new defensive analyst for football.

    Ft. Lewis also announced the hiring of Scott Grinde as an assistant who will coach the defensive line. The two new hires bring a combined 90 years of coaching experience to the program. Long is the most winningest coach in the University of New Mexico history.

    He is also the winningest coach in the Mountain West Conference. Long is known for bringing the 3-3-5 defense to prominence.
