    Local organization works to support people transitioning out of incarceration

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –InspirEmpower New Mexico is a nonprofit that works to empower, educate and employ people who are coming out of incarcerations with entrepreneurial focused programs.

    ABQ BioPark Family Picnic Night set for August 9

    The organization is hosting its Black and White Sneaker Ball. The event raises funds for InspirEmpower New Mexico which will go towards helping people as they are released from incarceration. The fundraising event will be July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel. Guests are encouraged to dress in semi-casual black and white attire. Tickets are $75 for single tickets and $135 for couple tickets.
