Program aimed at ended intergenerational trauma with mental health services

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Lotus Affect is a nonprofit that aims to end intergenerational trauma and provide mental health services.

One of the programs the organization offers works with mothers who are battling or recovering from the influence of substances. The mothers get a chance to work with a therapist and community support worker for at least one year. In the program, the mothers will attend a groups and learn skills for employment, education on how to better care for their children and more. For resources and more information, click here.
