Wyoming Updates Safe Haven Law to Help Protect Newborn Babies
House Bill 0090, known as the Safety for a Newborn Child Act, went into effect July 1st. This law updates the previous Safe Haven Law to help protect newborn babies. Now parents of babies can safely give up their child for any reason to ensure the baby is cared for and kept safe for up to 60 days. This is an increase from the previous limit of 14 days.

County Museum Hosts Basket Weaving Class Saturday

Sheridan Commission OKs GGM Campground CUP
A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a commercial RV campground to be located in Arvada has been approved by the Sheridan County Commission. According to the report from the County Public Works Department, GGM, LLC, represented by managing member Thaddeus Stolz, applied for the CUP for the construction and operation of the RV campground on a 0.640acre parcel located on the south side of Main Street in unincorporated Arvada, which is currently zoned A-Agricultural.
