The Chamber celebrated the opening of the new location for new member, Ballard’s Fine Art Gallery, with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 23 S. Chamber Celebrates New City Public Restrooms
The Chamber celebrated the addition of new public restrooms in the City of Sheridan with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. The five deluxe portable restrooms are temporary for the summer season and are located on Grinnell Plaza between Verdello and the City Hall building. Two of the restrooms are designated for men, two for women and one is a family restroom with a changing table. The restrooms include toilet paper, paper towels and soap and are fully functioning with water, sewer and electricity. Game and Fish Commission to meet in Buffalo
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department have announced the Commission’s next meeting is July 15-16 in Buffalo. According to the department, the meeting will begin with a field tour that will provide an overview of fish passage work on Clear Cleek, the Monument Boat Ramp and the Bud Love Wildlife Habitat Management Area. The remainder of the meeting will be held at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center, 63 N. Burritt Ave. The public is invited to attend in-person or online via ZOOM video conferencing and will have a chance to speak to the Commission on any matter.
County Commissioners Vote 5-0 to Vacate County Road 124 in Eden
SWEETWATER COUNTY — The Sweetwater County commissioners voted unanimously to vacate County Road 124 Eden-East 2nd North during their meeting Tuesday morning. The county received 14 letters in support of vacating the road, and three opposing it. Public Works Director Gene Legerski said the road hasn’t been used since 1994 and to use it, a new road would have to be constructed for around $1 million. There would then be an annual cost for the county to maintain and plow the road.

Rosters and information for the annual “Wyoming Coaches Foundation North-South All-Star Games” was released on Wednesday for the 2024 edition. The games will be on July 20 in Casper at T-Bird gym at Casper College.
