Platte River Trails Trust applies for grant for bridge project
CASPER, Wyo. — As part of its efforts to expand the Casper Rail Trail and improve the Platte River Trails, the Platte River Trails Trust is undertaking a project to install a bridge over a portion of the Old Glenrock Highway near the entrance to Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park. Toward that goal, the trust will be applying for a Transportation Alternative Programs grant through the state to fund the bridge’s design.

Casper Recycling Depot on Wyoming Boulevard Closed for Fair Week
The recycling depot located on Wyoming Boulevard near Fairside Road will be closed from Friday, July 5th, until Monday, July 15th, for the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo. The action is being taken to prevent fair visitors from parking at the depot and walking across Wyoming Boulevard/State Highway 258 to reach the fairgrounds.
