Jerry Alton Harvey

Jerry Alton Harvey of Alderson passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Jerry was born February 19, 1958, in Clintonville, WV, and was a son of the late Burl Sandy and Gayla June Harvey.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Martina Highlander Harvey; brother, Alan and wife, Bethie, of Clintonville; sister, Elaine “Prid” and husband, Steve, of Mechanicsville, VA; special nephews, Nick and wife, Emilea, and Zak; special niece, Ali and husband, Whit; and many other cherished family members and friends.

Jerry loved and excelled in carpentry, construction, and handyman repairs. He was a perfectionist and highly skilled and sought after in these areas. He loved to read Westerns, loved the outdoors, going to the beach, and especially fishing from Nags Head Pier.

In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
