Elite in-state 4-Star wide receiver visiting Alabama this weekend
Cederian Morgan confirmed he will be at the University of Alabama this weekend. Morgan is a 2026 four-star recruit out of Benjamin Russel High School in Alexander City Alabama. He currently garners a four-star rating from most recruiting sites and is regarded as one of the nation’s top underclassman prospects. Auburn will also host Morgan this weekend.

Update: Heat advisory affecting Alabama until Monday evening
An updated heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 3:09 p.m. in effect until 7 p.m. for Choctaw, Washington and Mobile counties. The weather service says, "For today's Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 110 degrees. For Tuesday's Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 111 expected."

Former Alabama football star sentenced to hard labor in Alabama for animal cruelty
Former Crimson Tide star, Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman, Isaiah Buggs has been convicted on two counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Tuscaloosa County District Judge Joanne Jannik sentenced Buggs on July 19 to a year of hard labor, ordering him to serve 60 days. The rest would be suspended for two years "pending the behavior of the defendant."
