(Alexandria, MN)--The 4th annual Alexandria Craft Beer Tour was a big success late last week. The event took place Friday afternoon and evening at Knute Nelson Memorial Field in Alexandria. People from all over the area, the state, and beyond came out for some great sampling of their next favorite craft beer, hard cider, and malt beverage. Organizers say over 500 people were on hand for the event.

Frazee Man Killed in Front-End Loader Accident
A tragic accident north of Staples resulted in the death of John Berger, a 79-year-old resident of Frazee. The incident occurred around 6:15 PM on Thursday when a front-end loader rolled on top of him along a county road. Despite the swift response from the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Staples Police, Staples Fire-Rescue, and Lakewood Health Ambulance Service, Berger was pronounced dead at the scene.
