As a landowner with natural gas wells on my family’s dairy farm, I’ve had a productive relationship with industry. In fact, when activity first started in 2010-2011, my neighbors and I formed a landowner group to educate ourselves. We grew from about 65 people in our first meeting to about 600 – with 2,000-plus signatures on the lease agreement in the end.
