Athlete of the Week: B-A offensive line
This week’s BluePrint Athlete of the Week is the entire Bellwood-Antis offensive line. When watching a football game it is easy to get caught up in who’s scoring the touchdowns and who is making the big plays; however, none of that would be possible without a good offensive line. This is the reason why the B-A offensive line is the Athlete of the Week.

The Golden Eagles travel to Johnstown this Friday to take on the 0-1 Trojans. With both teams coming off of losses you can expect this to be a good game. Men's Cross Country Opens Season with Second Place Finish
WESTMORELAND, Pa. – The men's cross country team finished second overall Friday evening at the Westmorland-WCC Wolfpack Invite with four top-ten finishers. Finishing in third for the Eagles was Adam Gallo with a time of 17:29.30 with McClain Reamer right behind in fourth with a time of 17:59.50. CJ Coffey placed eighth with a time of 18:33.60 while Jake Alexander finished tenth with a time of 19:14.60. With a time of 19:39.60 was Clark Gaynor who finished 13th.

Football Recap: Mount Union Extends Home Winning Streak to Six
Mount Union lost to Berlin Brothersvalley back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mount Union Trojans walked away with a 20-7 win over the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 375th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 153rd).

CURVE WALK OFF FISHER CATS
Matt Frazier sent the Fisher Cats to the loser’s column with a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th to win 7-5 Friday night at PNG Field. After New Hampshire quickly went ahead in the top of the tenth inning against Grant Ford, but the Curve used a wild pitch and a walk to put men at the corners with one out when Fraizer lifted a high fly ball down the right field line off Anders Tolhurst to earn the win. This marks the eighth walk-off this season and the first six-game series win since July 30th.
Football Game Recap: Huntingdon Takes a Loss
Huntingdon lost against Richland back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huntingdon Bearcats were beaten by the Richland Rams 50-7. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Rams are ranked 154th).

Fallon scores 4 goals to lead Lady Red Raiders in opener
HUNTINGDON — Bellefonte sophomore Maddy Fallon began the 2024 high school girls soccer season by scoring four goals in a 5-1 win on Monday, Aug. 26, at Huntingdon. Bellefonte teammate Sydney Miller scored the first goal of the season thanks to an assist from Brooke Whitman. Miller also assisted on two of Fallon’s goals in the second half.
