FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Drivers found themselves hitting the trail, well, avoiding it Monday along Beulah Street in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County.

Just north of Hilltop Village Center, people encountered a line of garbage in the roadway that led to a garbage truck that appeared to have lost its contents.

One of the many people who encountered the trashy mess shared video of it on Reddit . Others were quick to comment on the video.

One Reddit user wrote: “Passed it today. Girlfriend threw up.” Another stated: “I can smell this video.”

Someone who, like the person who shared the video, was on Beulah Street after it happened said: “I saw two guys from the trash company are cleaning it up. The police blocked the trash lane and they are putting the trash in a regular dumpster that was brought by another truck.”
