City of Rockville Welcomes Residents to Review Town Center Master Plan Update
The City of Rockville is asking residents to review and provide feedback on the latest draft of the updated Town Center Master Plan ahead a public hearing on July 10. Per the news release: “A formal review and approval process for the plan will begin this summer. The Planning Commission was scheduled to introduce the plan on Wednesday, June 26, and will hold a public hearing on the draft plan on Wednesday, July 10.

The Virginia Lottery has issued penalty fees for regulatory violations. US.- The Virginia Lottery has issued penalty fees totalling $545,000 against Rivers Casino Portsmouth for regulatory violations over the past year. The settlements were reached after minors were found in the casino in May and voluntarily excluded persons in December and January. The regulator also found deficiencies in accounting and surveillance controls, and lapses in revenue reporting and table game operations.
