Spring Street reopens in Westbrook following propane leak
WESTBROOK (WGME) -- A portion of Spring Street in Westbrook is back open after a pipeline problem on Wednesday. The Westbrook Fire Department says an underground propane tank was struck and propane escaped into the atmosphere. Utility companies were brought in to address the issue.

Several car fires doused in southern Maine
PORTLAND, Maine — Firefighters raced to put out a car fire in the parking lot of Hannaford on Forest Avenue in Portland Wednesday evening.
