Like all USC offenses, the 2024 Trojans will rely on a Lincoln Riley-designed passing game that creates space and after-catch opportunities primarily for the team's wide receivers. USC spent about half of its 2023 offensive snaps with four or more offensive weapons split out. Unlike most of Riley's tenure and certainly unlike his first two USC teams, the Trojans don't have a clear frontrunner to headline the wide receiver position. In 2022, Jordan Addison was expected to be that guy and he very much was for the Trojans. Last season, USC added Dorian Singer from Arizona but it ended up being Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice who did the heavy lifting for Caleb Williams.
