U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) recently announced a $550 million federal grant for the I-10 Mobile River Bridge and Bayway Project. Montgomery Public School students design cars of the future, judged by industry experts
Last semester, 190 Montgomery middle schoolers created designs and prototypes of automobiles in 2050. Students throughout Montgomery Public School's nine middle schools participated in the nine-week program, which culminated in a competition that was judged by experts in the industry. The students created designs for vehicles in reaction to issues facing drivers today, said Samantha Swanigan, the Montgomery-based student fellows specialist at Ed Farm.
