    2021-08-27

PHOENIX, AZ - The University of Arizona or UA has opened its fall semester. President Robert C. Robbins is anticipating this event by increasing the COVID-19 test and vaccination numbers for all UA members. Regarding the event, UA offers two test programs both for dorm residents and other campus members who live outside the campus area.

Here are the test types complete with the schedule and location. Note that these tests are designated for asymptomatic UA members.

The first one is for dorm residents. UA provides rapid antigen tests for everyone who lives in the campus dorm at Student Union at 1303 University Blvd at Catalina Room. The test will be on the third floor that is located on the far north side of the Student Union next to the North Ballroom.

The tests will be from 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The test results will be available two hours after the test.

The second one is PCR or saline gargle test for those who live outside the campus area. The test will be held at the same place as the rapid test venue. For those who attend the test, there is a free parking area at Lot #1172 that can be accessed from the south side of Mabel St.

The tests will be from 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday. The test results will be available one to two days after the test.

For all PCR test attendees, note that you are not allowed to consume anything including smoke, vape, chew gum, mouthwash, and teeth brushing 30 minutes before you undergo the test.

All UA members can register themselves by completing the form that can be accessed here before choosing your appointment schedule that can be accessed here. Lastly, you need to use Wildcat OneStop for easy check-in that can be accessed here.
