Driver rescues dog from car after sinking it into lake
ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI – A motorist who drove into a lake was able to free himself and his dog from the vehicle before it sank 10 feet down into the water. Rescue crews were called at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, June 29, to Monterey Lake, north of Allegan, for a report of a vehicle that had gone into the water, according to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office.

Well, the first third of summer is closing out and the temperatures were warmer than normal and wetter than normal for the Allegan County and Otsego. Allegan man convicted for killing estranged wife's son in 2022
ALLEGAN COUNTY — A local man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the death of his estranged wife's son in 2022.
