Man dies after pickup strikes semi's trailer on Kan. highway
ALLEN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 7p.m. Sunday in Allen County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Colorado driven by Donald Brian Gaylord, 64, Magnolia,Texas, was southbound on U.S. 169 at Minnesota Road. Free workshop for young adults will help teach soft skills for career success
LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The organizers of a newly developed workshop are hoping to provide the skills needed for young adults to enter the workforce. "Presenting Your Best Self: Soft Skills for Career Success" is a joint effort of the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce, Apollo Career Center, and The Heartland Image Foundation. They recognized the need for local businesses and industries to have employees who have good communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. It will be a project of the new Hub at the Central District.
