Dodge County Sheriff Offers Fireworks Safety Tips, Discusses Legality
(Beaver Dam) With the July 4th holiday Thursday, the Dodge County sheriff is providing a few safety reminders and courteous behavior tips throughout the upcoming weekend. Last year, there were 126 emergency room visits in Wisconsin for fireworks-related injuries according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. A quarter of those injured were children less than 18-years-old.

West Bend, Wi – It was September 2015 and an 80th reunion was held for the West Bend High School class of 1935. There were 86 students in the graduating class. Two remaining students, Lillian Moritz Oelhafen and Frieda Kaehny Hauser attended. They met for breakfast at Perkins Restaurant in West Bend. There were lots of memories shared by the 98-year-olds who reminisced about their days growing up and working in West Bend.
