The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the quake at a magnitude of 2.2, with its epicenter located east of Califon near Old Turnpike Road (County Route 517). This tremor marks the 181st aftershock following a 4.8 magnitude earthquake in April, which was the strongest in New Jersey since 1884. Plumstead Police Charge Doylestown Man with Stabbing a Man During a Fight
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA—Police arrested a 38-year-old Doylestown man and charged him with stabbing another who was found on a Plumstead Road late on Tuesday afternoon. On July 30 at about 5:25 p.m., Plumstead police responded to the area near Curly Hill Road for the report of a traffic accident. Once they arrived, however, police found a 40-year-old male with a stab wound.
