ARTFEST VENDORS – University of Mount Union is seeking vendors for its 60 th annual ArtFest. The event will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.mn. Sept. 21 at the Campus Lakes. Organizers seek fine art in the traditional and modern media (i.e. watercolor/acrylic (under glass), oil/acrylic (without glass), collage, graphics, drawing, pastels, sculpture, painting, ceramics, printmaking, photography, etc.) and functional art that has a specific utility yet it is originally creative either in its purpose or aesthetic appearance (i.e. jewelry, fiber, woodworking, glass, enameling, mirrors, purses/bags, lights, tables, mirrors, etc.). The event will feature artwork that is both on display and for sale. New this year, the committee is also inviting vendors whose works are not entirely original or created in bulk. These include but are not limited to direct sales, plants, or crafters who produce bulk pieces like 3-d printed items, t-shirts, signs, lotions, candles, soaps, etc. These vendors will not be juried for awards. Vendors selling food items will not be accepted. Booth fees will start at $50 for early birds through Aug. 15, or the regular adult rate of $75 from Aug. 16 to Sept. 20. Booth fees will be waived for junior vendors (12-18) or collegiate (enrolled in college) vendors. Event registration on the day of the event is $150 per space.
