CHASSELL, Mich. (WLUC) - Friday marked the first day of the 76th annual Copper Country Strawberry Festival. The festival kicked off with the Chassell Lions Club selling strawberry shortcakes at 9 a.m. An old-fashioned cake walk, 88 vendors selling different items, and a fish boil dinner followed throughout the day.
