Donations to Wisconsin Humane Society being matched all August long
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Thanks to several donors, funds, and family foundations, every dollar donated to the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) will be matched up to $200,000. WHS says that summer is the peak intake season, bringing in a lot of animals who urgently need shelter, support, medical care, and a new family. Donations will go to things like training for dogs with special behavioral needs, spaying or neutering animals, or providing emergency surgery and medical treatment.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) - A new environmental regeneration project began Wednesday in the village of Whiting. After months of planning, 53 goats arrived at the Whiting Water Treatment Plant to begin chowing away on invasive species.
