Man killed in farm truck crash in Corinth
CORINTH, Maine — The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a farm truck in Corinth on Saturday afternoon. Authorities said the crash was reported at around 4:25 p.m. on Beans Mill Road near its intersection with Exeter Road. Deputies and fire personnel arrived to find a large farm truck off the road and into the woods. The truck’s lone occupant, a man, was trapped between the passenger side of the vehicle and a tree.

Swedish reunion in Dover-Foxcroft
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Swedish reunion group began on Aug. 18, 1990 with initial committee members Althea Haggstrom French, Madeleine Holmbom Pullen, Joyce Haggstrom Allen, and Hollis Nelson. There were 28 Swedish descendants and 12 guests in attendance at the first meeting held at the Monson United Church of Christ.
