South Dakota’s team tied for second place for the sweepstakes award at the 2024 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships. Sioux Falls Woman Charged In Capitol Riot
(Washington, D.C.) — A Sioux Falls businesswoman is accused of taking part in the January 6th Capitol riot in 2021. Amy Willis faces four federal charges, including entering a restricted building without lawful authority. The investigation began with a tip to the FBI just two days after the riot. Someone in South Dakota claimed that they overheard Willis bragging about being inside the U.S. Capitol building. Investigators interviewed Willis about a year later, but she wasn’t arrested until last week and appeared in federal court Thursday in Sioux Falls.
