Cobb Police say three people have been charged in relation to the death of a woman who was last seen in east Cobb.

Warrants for Allen Kerr, 32, Sean Deshazer, 26, and Jasmine Craig, 27, were issued on June 27, according to police. All three have been charged with concealing the death of 20-year-old Maury-Ange Faith Martinez, of Alpharetta.

Martinez was reported missing in Gwinnett County on Aug. 28, 2023. Investigators determined her last known location was in unincorporated Cobb, near Powers Ferry Road.

On Jan. 5, human skeletal remains were discovered in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner confirmed the remains were Martinez’s. Jail records show Kerr and Deshazer both live on Powers Ferry Road in Marietta. The two men have been held in Cobb Jail since October and November 2023, respectively, both on felony drug charges. Craig was taken into custody in the Witchita, Kansas area on July 2, and is awaiting extradition. The three suspects' warrants have not yet been released to the public and details on their alleged involvement in Martinez's death are not clear at this time. Cobb Police request anyone who may have had contact with Martinez around the time of her disappearance or otherwise has information to contact the department's Crimes Against Persons Unit at 770-499-3945. Tips can be anonymously submitted through Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
